The Century Plant - Mount Vernon

In 2022 I was given the wonderful opportunity to work with the curators of Mount Vernon on a recreation of a piece of art work that was once owned by George Washington.

In the studio

This watercolor piece took a little while. We had to test out a few varieties of historically accurate papers before we could settle on the final one. Here’s a photo of the painting finally finished, but yet to be framed, at my work desk.

Placed in the Little Parlor
